2021 Ram Rebel TRX Redesign, Price, Specs, and Release Date

2021 Ram Rebel TRX Redesign, Price, Specs, and Release Date. At first look, you will think that this is regular RAM. The truck upon us is no other than 2020 Ram Rebel TRX test mule. The bulky suspensions at the rear are one sign of this.

This truck was utterly wrapped up and parked alongside Dodge Challenger Hellcat. It’s Big Horn from the outside, but one look at the hood showed us its secret. This is why we believe that RAM is testing its new RAM Rebel TRX.

A few months ago RAM confirmed that the plans to produce Ford F-150 Raptor rival are well underway. The unit that powered Rebel TRX Concept had 575 horsepower, the number which we think will be bettered by 2020 Ram Rebel TRX. Rumors close to RAM headquarters claim that new TRX Rebel will get what it deserves and that means no less than 700 hp.

Of course, it is easy to make Ford Raptor counterpart and to bless it with a ton of horsepower, but what about suspension? RAM will need to address this matter as they will need to have strong enough suspension to handle all that power. This truck will need to be agile in both road and off-road situations, and without good suspension system, this will not be possible.

With test mules already on the roads, we can start looking forward to the final version. 2020 Ram Rebel TRX will most likely debut late next year or early in 2020.

2021 Ram Rebel TRX might sound like a fantasy, but is it really? Rebel TRX is a big part of them.

The Ram head honcho Mike Manley also stated that the future is bright for their brand and that Ford F-150 Raptor needs to watch its back. Why? Well, Ram and Ford are great rivals, and there’s only one performance-oriented truck out-there worth competing with.

The reason why Ram will undoubtedly go forth with 2021 Rebel TRX is the market craves for this type of truck. Ram wants a piece of the cake; it’s simple as that. Yes, the F-150 Raptor is the most dominant one, but new rebel TRX will have other adversaries.

What most people are interested in is what exactly is going to power this monster truck. If these figures turn out to be true, the F-150 Raptor will be in trouble. This fact makes Ram fans droll as the concept version was equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with mere 575 horsepower.

The move to create a performance Ram Rebel became possible when Ram introduced a new platform for its prized Ram 1500 truck. Now, they are in a position to expand the number of trims they offer, and that’s where 2021 Ram Rebel TRX fits in. They are eager to get their share of this market and rebel has the pedigree to succeed.

The design will most likely be a reminiscence of what TRX Concept offered back in 2016. The wheels will be more prominent in size than those on regular Ram’s followed by a higher suspension. We can’t be sure what Ram plans for the inside, but sports seats and similar steering wheel are a must.

FCA and Ram bosses laid out their plans, but this is a five-year plan. If they want to shake up F-150 Raptor, they need to go in strong. Expect this monster truck in 2021 as 2021 MY.

The design of this truck should also merit the colossal price. The standard Ram 1500 starts at $28,000. The notorious F-150 Raptor starts at $51,080, so this is the mark where 2021 Ram Rebel TRX needs to position itself.
