2020 Honda CR-V: Release Date, Hybrid, Design, Price. The Honda car maker has revealed its new 2018 Honda CR-V model, but they have also announced the latest version of their popular crossover at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show in September. It is going to be the 2020 Honda CR-V
The Honda CR-V is the compact crossover SUV which stands between the smaller HR-V and larger Pilot model with three-rows of seats. It represents the model which can be suitable for most drivers.
If you are looking for good safety ratings, practicality and reliability, then the Honda’s CR-V crossover might be an excellent choice. Compared to its key rivals such as Toyota RAV4, the CR-V provides more room inside the cabin and it is more powerful than the Nissan Rogue.
The current model isn’t significantly larger than the last generation model, but still, it offers much better interior space so as the cargo room. Speaking of the exterior styling, the CR-V now looks bolder and more aggressive. There should also be a hybrid model drivetrain in the offer.
On the other hand, for the upcoming 2020 Honda CR-V, there probably won’t be any major changes; perhaps some small upgrades considering technology and some improvements in the hybrid version. The 2020 Honda CR-V is expected to be offered in the same trim levels as before.
2020 Honda CR-V engines and performances
According to the latest reports, the 2020 Honda CR-V will most likely use the same which power the current model. The base model will be powered with a 2.4-liter inline-4 which is able to generate 184 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The next option which will power the other trims will be a 1.5-liter turbo-4.
As for the fuel economy, the base engine gets 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway with FWD. With all-wheel drive system, it is rated at 25/31 mpg.
On the other hand, according to the latest news, the Company will also offer a hybrid version of this model. It could be a combination of a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle inline-4 engine and the latest two-motor hybrid system which was firstly used in the newest 2018 Honda Accord. We still don’t have any information about its output.
2020 Honda CR-V Design of exterior and interior
When it comes to exterior design, the 2020 Honda CR-V will most likely keep with the same design as the current model. The overall look of the Honda CR-V is generally handsome and eye-catching.
Speaking of the interior, 2020 Honda CR-V will offer sufficiently spacious and quality cabin. When we compare it to its main rivals, the CR-V offers more space inside and therefore more comfort and better ride quality. The newest Honda will be able to welcome up to five passengers in two rows of seats.
2020 Honda CR-V Equipment
The standard equipment of the base CR-V LX model will include automatic climate control, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, USB, audio system with four speakers and cruise control.
